My latest project....

is inspired by the beautiful canvases created by the very talented Finnabair. Karen and I have wanted to do one for ages and decided it to make it our crop project. It took me two days to complete, but I'm really pleased with the result. I used a photo from a magazine and then the rest of the process involved metal embellishments, strips of canvas, lace paper flowers, a bit of stencilling and lots of black gesso. The gesso was then painted using Luminarte 'silks' paints.

    Stunning, you've done Finnabair proud with your take on her canvas style. I've just seen Karen's one on her blog too. You've both used some gorgeous, dark and rich colours. Pxx

    This is so very stylish - apart from the one Karen posted recently! I have never seen anything like them. The depth of colour and text,rue is very beautiful. I love how you try new things!
