Our Creative Corner - Use a Tag

For this challenge, you had to use a tag somewhere on the front of your card. I have used a tag stamp from SU, a Sugar Nellie image, coloured with Prismacolor pencils and Sansador, and papers from Papermania.

Secret Crafter - Challenge 20

Final card for tonight, a sketch challenge from Secret Crafter. I have used Pink Paislee 'Sweet Cakes' collection paper and a Penny Black stamp - Chic, which has been coloured using Prismacolor pencils and Sansador. The scalloped square was cut using Cricut's 'Storybook' cartridge and the photo corners were cut using a Sizzix die.

Sketch Saturday - 39

I have made this card using the sketch from Sketch Saturday. I have used Fancy Pants 'Daily Grind' PPs, Prima 'Say it in Crystals' flower centre and dragonfly and Penny Black's 'Asters' stamp, which was inked using Marvy Le Plume markers.

Penny Black - Challenge 37

The challenge from Penny Black this week, was to make a 'get well card'. I have used Penny Black's 'Painter's Vase' stamp, which was inked using Marvy Le Plume pens. The papers are Fancy Pants 'Daily Grind' and the sentiment was done on the PC.

Scrap Like You Mean It - Week 9

The compulsory element, this week, is punches. I have used the SU tab punch, the SU flower punch and the Martha Stewart Doilly punch. The PPs are from the Fancy Pants 'Daily Grind' collection and the scalloped circle and title have been cut with the Cricut 'Storybook' cartridge.

Friday Sketchers - Sketch 40

Another great sketch from Friday Sketchers. I have used Sugar Nellie's 'Claudia the Artist' stamp, which has been coloured using Promarkers. The papers are from Pink Paislee's 'Sweet Cakes' collection and the sentiment stamp is from SU.

Cute Card Thursday - Challenge 48

This week's challenge was to do a 'Spring' inspired card. I have used a stamp from the SU 'Garden Whimsy' set, SU 'Rainbow Sherbet' PPs and a Penny Black sentiment stamp. The scalloped circle was cut using a Nestabilities die.

A Spoon Full of Sugar - Challenge 39

This week's challenge was a sketch challenge. All the products I have used, apart from the Sizzix scalloped oval die, are from Stampin' Up: 'True Friend' stamps, 'Spiced Cider' PPs, and 'Old Olive' and 'Really Rust' inks, cardstock, ribbon, button and flowers.

Scrap Like You Mean It - Week 8

This week was quite a challenge. You had to 'cut' your photographs - in a different way to the usual cropping. My LO is totally alien to my usual style, but I enjoyed doing it. The journalling reads: I work Monday to Wednesday. On a Wednesday evening I come home and 'blitz' the house and do the shopping. This leaves me with Thursday and Friday to 'play' - heaven!

Friday Sketchers - Sketch 39

I have used a Magnolia Tilda stamp for this challenge, which has been coloured using Prismacolor pencils and Sansador. The sentiment stamp is from Stamps Away and the PP is from the Daisy Bucket 'In the Meadow' collection.

Papertake - Dawny's Sketch 8

For this challenge, I used my new stamps from Craftwork Cards for the main image and also to stamp the background papers. The PP is My Minds Eye 29th Street 'Sunburst'.

Magnolia vs Stampavie - Week 13

This week's challenge over at Magnolia vs Stampavie was a sketch challenge. I have used Sugar Nellie 'Flowers' stamp, which has been coloured using Promarkers, the sentiment stamp is from Penny Black and the rest of the papers, embellishments and the flower stamp are from Craftwork Cards.

Scrap Like You Mean it - Week 7

This week's challenge was to use old photos on your LO. Unfortunately, my baby photos more than qualify for this theme! I have used Daisy Bucket 'In the Meadow' papers and border and Pink Paislee 'Holly Doodle' alphabet stickers.

Scrap Like You Mean It - Week 6

This week's challenge on UKS was to use ribbons on your LO. I don't often use ribbons on LOs, as I'm never quite sure what to do with them. I eventually decided on 3 strips of AMM 'Daisy yellow' ribbon, along with Paper Salon 'Enamoured' pps and a Making Memories 'Delaney' journalling note.

UKS Cyber Crop

I haven't done any of the card challenges for last week, as I was busy preparing for, and then taking part in, the Cyber Crop over on UK Scrappers. There were some lovely classes and my friend Karen and I spent a lovely weekend doing as many of them as we could. I copied 'Wild Thing' almost exactly, as I loved it so much, but most of the others I have adapted to suit my photos/supplies/papers etc (still loved them though)

Papertake - Dawny's Sketch 7

The colours haven't come out very well in this one, for some reason - the leaves and vase look grey, rather than green. I have used Hero Arts 'Post Sketch' stamp, which has been coloured with Stampin' Up inks. The papers, ribbon, buttons and sentiment stamp are also Stampin' Up.

Magnolia vs Stampavie - Week 11

The challenge at Magnolia vs Stampavie, this week, was to use at least two different stamps on your card. I have used 2 Magnolia stamps, which were coloured using Promarkers. I'm not sure what the PPs are, as they have been lurking in my stash for ages. The embossed panel was done using a cuttlebug folder and I have used 'dewdrops' for the centre of the flowers and the edge of the sentiment.

Penny Black - Frame It

The challenge from Penny Black Saturday, this week, was to put a frame on your card. I used a Sizzix frame around a Penny Black image from the 'Critter Party' set, which was coloured using Prismacolors and Sansador. I created the background using a Stampin' Up stamp from the 'Yummy' set and used a Hero Arts stamp (Old French Writing) to take away the 'whiteness' of the flower.

Sketch Saturday - Sketch 35

Final card for this weekend. I have used a Sugar Nellie stamp called 'Flowers', which has been coloured using Promarkers. The papers are 'Night Owl' from the Pink Paislee ' Vintage Moon Collection' and 29th Street Market 'Spirit "Bright" Sunburst'. I have used a Martha Stewart punch for the scalloped edges. The sentiment stamp is from 'Penny Black'.

Cute Card Thursday - Challenge 44

The challenge, this week, was to create a scene. I have used Magnolia stamps, coloured with Promarkers. The background was done using chalks (thanks Andrea, for inspiring me to dig them out of cold storage LOL), and the PPs were the remnants from the Pink Paislee 'Spring Fling' papers. The sentiment stamp is from 'Stamps Away'.

Friday Sketchers - Sketch 36

This my card for the Friday Sketchers challenge. I have coloured Tilda using Promarkers and have used Pink Paislee 'Spring Fling' papers. The scalloped oval was cut using my big shot.

Spoonfull of Sugar - Baby Card

This week's challenge was to make a baby card. I have used a stamp from 'Anita' and K&Co 'Small Wonder' papers. The sentiment stamp is by Hero Arts.

Magnolia vs Stampavie - Week 10

This week's challenge was to use a bow or bows on the card. Tying bows is not my forte, as you can see by the finished result LOL. I have coloured Tilda using Promarkers and have used papers from the Pink Paislee 'Spring Fling' collection.

Papertake Weekly - Shape Up

For this challenge we had to use 3 different shapes on the card. The stamp is by Magenta and has been coloured using Promarkers. The PPs and flowers are from the Heidi Grace ' A Little Bird's Tale' Collection. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up.

Sketch Saturday - Sketch 34

I love Thursdays and Fridays - no work, just the chance to 'play' all day! For this challenge I have used a Sugar Nellie stamp, coloured with Promarkers. The pink mount has been cut using my Cricut, the papers are a combination of Heidi Grace 'A Little Bird's Tale' and Elsie 'Clare Prom Dress'. The flower stickers are also from the Heidi Grace 'A Little Bird's Tale' collection.

Penny Black Saturday - Let's Get Dotty

If you hadn't already guessed, this week's theme was 'dotty'. I have used Craftwork Cards 'Enchanted' papers, Bazzill 'Dotted Swiss' Cardstock and a spotty brad to finish off. The stamp is Penny Black ' For You' and it has been coloured using Prismacolors.

Scrap Like You Mean It - Week 4

This one was tough - we had to follow a sketch and it was really difficult trying to find a photo that you could cut into equal strips, without chopping someone in half! I decided to change the strip featuring Tim and Daisy into colour, to help it stand out. Used Cricut Plantin cartridge for the lettering.

Spoonfull of Sugar - Challenge 34

This week's challenge is to use 'paper piecing' i.e. stamp an image on plain paper and then stamp it again on patterned paper, instead of colouring in some of the sections. The wall and 'Happy Birthday' are from the Magnolia 'Graffiti' collection, the girl is 'Farmer Tilda' and the other sentiment is from Hero Arts. The punches are from Stampin' Up.

Penny Black Saturday - Week 31

This week's challenge was to use a brown and pink colour scheme. I have used the final few pieces of Crate Paper's 'Blue Hill Collection'; some brown Bazzill, which has been embossed using a cuttlebug folder; a prima bloom; Stampendous sentiment and Penny Black's 'Buzz in the Air' stamp, which was coloured using Prismacolors.

Magnolia vs Stampavie - Week 9

This week's challenge was to make a gift for someone, so I dug out my trusty bind it all and made a little notebook. The stamp was coloured with promarkers, the scalloped oval was cut using the Big Shot and the PPs are from Crate Paper's ' Blue Hill Collection'.
