Mojo Monday 312

I'm hoping that now Lauren has gone to Uni, I might get back into some regular crafting. I have made this card using this week's Mojo Monday sketch. All products used are SU. The photo is rubbish, because it is so dull here - don't know what happened to the forecasted sunny day!

Play/Talking Day at Karen's

We got more talking than playing done, but at least I managed one LO! Most of the stuff used was from my Studio Calico kit, apart from the Pizza, which I cut with my Cameo and decorated with some 'Pepperoni like' bling!

A Few Cards Using My Cameo

I got a Silhouette Cameo for my birthday and have already had lots of fun playing with it. I created these cards using cut files, which I backed with coloured card, patterned paper, or coloured with Copics. The sentiments are Stampin' Up.

A Fancy Pants Sketch....

helped me to pretty much finish off my June Quirky kit, just in time for this month's to arrive.

Bouncy Fun

Another LO using my June Quirky Kit.

Time consuming but....

very therapeutic! I used PTI's Happy Hexagons stamp set for this card. I die cut the hexagons and then stamped each one individually, before arranging them on the card. The sentiment hexagon is from SU.

Another SU Card

All supplies, apart from the Sizzix polaroid frame, are Stampin' Up. It has gone very dark here, all of a sudden - looks like more storms on the way, so difficult to get a good photo.

Scraplift

Lythan, one of the Quirky Kits designers, created a LO using the leftovers from the Quirky Kit. I have pretty much copied it exactly, apart from the wood veneer shapes that I have added. I love how she outlined all of the elements in black Sharpie.

Another Play Day

A slightly more productive Play Day this time. I've recently subscribed to 'Quirky Kits' and made both of these LOs using supplies from the kit.

Play Day

We had a play day at Karen's on Friday. As usual, I did more talking and faffing about, as opposed to producing much in the way of LO's - but I did manage the one shown below. I have used papers from the Studio Calico 'Snippets' collection.

Jane's Turn

For the last few months, at our local crop, we have been taking it in turns to put together a kit to complete a LO. This month it was Jane's turn. The papers and embellishments are from Fancy Pant's 'Park Bench' collection.

Stay at Home with Emilie

We recently had a 'stay at home' retreat at our local crop.

Emilie Chamel was our teacher for the weekend and she taught us, amongst other things, how to produce a LO without using patterned papers, just a few stamps and ink! The first two LOs were done in this way.

We all had a lovely and productive time - thank you Emilie!

Kaisercraft Project

This canvas was designed by Melissa Kennedy, who was inspired by Julie Nutting's 'College Couture' book, for the December 2012 Kaisercraft Workshop magazine. I have pretty much copied it exactly, apart from the 'doll', which was stamped and paper pieced using one of Julie Nutting's 'Mixed Media Doll Stamps', which are made by Prima.
The papers are from the 'Secret Admirer' collection, by Kaisercraft. I painted, stamped and stencilled the paper, before adding various Kaisercraft rub ons and stickers.

Changed the colour of the canvas, think it looks better in green

A baby card...

made for my neighbour's new granddaughter. I have used my trusty old 'Anita's' stamp, which was coloured with Copics. The paper is SU.

It's been so long....

that I'd almost forgotten how to post lol!
I bought a couple of Wendy Vecchi 'Art Parts' kits, from the HSNW show on Saturday and it must be some sort of record for me, but I actually completed one of them on Sunday! I've substituted most of the stamps for ones in my stash, but apart from that it's pretty much copied from her design.

Mojo in short supply...

but I've finally got around to making a card for my hubby's birthday, which is tomorrow.
I've used a PTI sentiment stamp and Penny Black hedgehog stamps, which have been coloured with Copics.
