Just Magnolia - Week 6

The challenge over at Just Magnolia, this week, was to use a shaped card. I have cut this scalloped circle card on the Cricut and also used it to cut the circular mats. Tilda has been coloured using Promarkers, the PPs are K&Co 'Roam' and the sentiment stamp and punches are from Stampin' Up. I have also used a Martha Stewart border punch and EK Success retro flower punches.

SLYMI - Week 22

A sketch this week, so not too much thinking involved. It fits in perfectly with my minimalist style. I have used Basic Grey 'Marrakech' PP, Bazzill and that's about it!

Friday Sketchers - Sketch 53

Fab sketch from Friday Sketchers this week. I have used a Sugar Nellie image, which has been coloured using Promarkers. The papers are K&Co 'Hopscotch', the sentiment in Stampin' Up, the stars were cut on the Cricut and the image was matted using Nesties.

Sketch Saturday - Sketch 51

A lovely sketch, this week, from Sketch Saturday. I have used a Whiff of Joy stamp, from the new summer kit, which I have coloured using Promarkers. The papers are K&Co 'Roam', the sentiment stamp and punch is from Stampin' Up and I have also used a Martha Stewart border punch and Nesties.

SLYMI - Week 21

Bit more of a challenge this week - we had to do a LO based on a song title. Thought the song I have chosen was perfect for this photo. I have used Fancy Pants 'Summer Soiree' papers, a little bit of Marrakech, and an Elusive Images stamped flower.

Friday Sketchers - Sketch 52

I haven't made a card for a while, but couldn't resist this lovely sketch from Friday Sketchers. I have used Basic Grey 'Urban Prairie' papers, a Sugar Nellie stamp, coloured with Promarkers, SU sentiment and punches and Nestabilities.

Jigsaw Finished!

The original charm I had ordered for my Wizard of Oz piece, was out of stock, so I had to order a different one. The new charm was trimmed in gold as opposed to the original silver one, so guess what... I had to redo my jigsaw piece! I'm going to parcel it up, ready to send, tomorrow, which will hopefully stop me from feeling the urge to redo any of the other pieces LOL.

SLYMI - Week 20

This week's challenge..... to use a pen!! I have doodled around the flowers, and journalled on the strips and also at the side of the photo. I have used K&Co 'Hopscotch' papers for the flowers, which have been stamped using an Elusive Images flower plate. I have added a Thickers title and plenty of bling.

That should probably read 'take 22'! I've lost count of the number of times I've redone this piece. I'm still not entirely happy with it, but enough's enough LOL!

SLYMI - Week 19

This week is 'scraplift' week. I have used Basic Grey Marrakech papers and embellishments, a Martha Stewart border punch and my Cricut to cut the title.

Altered Jigsaw - My Indian Piece

I did my Indian piece today, but then just when I thought I'd finished the jigsaw, I decided I didn't like the tattoo piece and ripped it up. I've just ordered another stamp for it, so when that arrives I'll finally be able to finish.

Altered Jigsaw Swap

Had a lovely day with my friend Karen yesterday and finally made a start on the altered jigsaw. I finished 3 pieces yesterday and have finished another 5 today, so only one more to do! I haven't uploaded Karen's piece, as she wants it to be a surprise, or my piece, as that's the one I've still got to do. I'm waiting for a 'ruby slipper' charm, to finish off the Wizard of Oz piece, so it looks a little bare at the moment.
