Henrietta Happypotamus

I found the crochet pattern for this hippo, designed by Heidi Bears on Ravelry and just fell in love with it. It consists of lots of African Flower pentagons, hexagons, heptagons and octagons all joined together. I wasn't sure if I was up to the challenge, but thought I'd give it a go and several months later here she is......

    Oh my goodness. Your hippo is absolutely fabulous. I am sat here, jaw on floor. It looks hellishly difficult and I'm full of admiration for your tackling this project and so perfectly creating it. This is def something I would buy, if I saw in a store. P xx

    My first thought was exactly the same as Paul's! How talented, Michele! She is truly stellar - as are you. I can't imagine how tricky it must have been joining all those so neatly together. What a personality she has!
