Sweet Treat

I have used Studio Calico's 'Office Hours' kit for this LO. The dotted circle was done using a stencil and a Promarker and the stars were coloured using the same pen (they've come out a bit dark in the photo though).

Caught in the rain

There is no obvious order in which I'm scrapping my photos - this one is from 2007! I'm just picking photos that go with the papers. The papers are from one of my least favourite Studio Calico kits and now that I have used them on two layouts, I feel I can chuck them without too much guilt!

Just Chillin'

Lauren chillin' on a bench at Epcot. Papers are from a Studio Calico kit. stamps are Scraptastic and Kaisercraft and alphabet is 'Pebbles'. At least there is an upside to all this miserable rain - I'm actually getting some scrapping done :)
(apologies for wonky picture)

Hide and Seek

This photo is 18 years old - I might get around to scrapping the new stuff eventually! I have used Studio Calico papers, Prima stitched circles stamps and the old trusty stencilling and splattering!

Catch Up!

I've finally got around to photographing some of my recent LOs for blogging. (I know I've not been a very good blogger recently!) I have also finished the Masterboard project, which was featured on Paper Artsy's blog. I have copied the original Masterboard, but the intention is to then cut it into pieces and use it on LOs and cards - watch this space! The original was created by Jo Firth Young and she (and I lol), has used her JOFY range of stamps. I have coloured them with Prismacolor pencils.

My latest project....

is inspired by the beautiful canvases created by the very talented Finnabair. Karen and I have wanted to do one for ages and decided it to make it our crop project. It took me two days to complete, but I'm really pleased with the result. I used a photo from a magazine and then the rest of the process involved metal embellishments, strips of canvas, lace paper flowers, a bit of stencilling and lots of black gesso. The gesso was then painted using Luminarte 'silks' paints.

Karen's Project

We take turns, at our monthly crop, to put together a project and this month it was Karen's turn. She painted a house shaped frame with Paper Artsy paints, created a crackle effect using 'crackle glaze' and then decorated it with JOFY stamped images which were painted using the PA paints again. We had a lovely day and I'm really pleased with my little house.

Final Few (well for now anyway lol)

Just a few more Fabulous Fashion cards, made using the cd. The decoupage doesn't show up on the photos, but my sore fingers, from all the cutting, will vouch for the fact that it is there.

More Fabulous Fashions

I love making these cards - I'm finding it very therapeutic. They were all made with House of Zandra decoupage sheets and papers. The sentiments were stamped and some stickles added for a bit of bling!

Let's Play

This is a photo of Lauren and my niece, Emma, taken when we lived in Scotland in 1996.
I have used papers from the Dear Lizzy 'Polka Dot Party' collection.

Txt Addict

I thought this paper, from the Pebbles 'From me to you' collection, was perfect to use to scrap a photo of Natalie who seems to be constantly texting.

Booby Crop

I went to the Booby Crop yesterday in Golborne. As usual, I did more 'faffing about' than creating, but I did manage to get one LO done and also made a start on my Christmas cards.
It was very satisfying to wear my favourite Converse until they literally wore out and even more satisfying to order a brand new pair exactly the same.

Mojo Monday 312

I'm hoping that now Lauren has gone to Uni, I might get back into some regular crafting. I have made this card using this week's Mojo Monday sketch. All products used are SU. The photo is rubbish, because it is so dull here - don't know what happened to the forecasted sunny day!
